Broadwater County Public Health is beginning to plan our annual kids Bike Safety Rodeo in conjunction with the Billings Clinic Broadwater Health Fair. This event is tentatively scheduled for May 31^st at Heritage Park on S. Pine Street, Townsend, MT.

The Bike Safety Rodeo is a community event that promotes bike safety for children ages 3 to 15. We provide hands-on biking safety education, a proper fitting of helmets, and an inspection of the bike itself. Each year, we provide door prizes, we raffle off six kids’ bikes, and we give out helmets to kids who do not have one.

We would like to invite you to join us at this event by having your organization represented with a booth or with volunteers. If you would like to participate, please give us a call so that we can keep you informed of upcoming meetings.

Or, if you are interested in supporting our event with a donation, that would be appreciated as well. If you would like to provide a donation, we would be happy to pick it up or it can be mailed to our office or dropped off during our business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
