Townsend Farmers Market

The market will be held every Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the WiFi Park in Townsend.

More than just a place to shop, the Townsend Farmers Market has grown into a vibrant gathering space where neighbors connect, local producers shine, and the best of the region is proudly displayed. Guided by its motto, “Grow It, Make It, or Bake It,” the market ensures that every item offered is locally produced and crafted with care.

Visitors can expect a wide variety of goods throughout the season. Early markets will feature fresh, in-season vegetables, gradually transitioning into a full summer harvest and some of the finest sweet corn in the fall. Shoppers will also find freshly-baked goods, including sourdough breads, along with unique treats like freeze-dried candies.

Local ranchers and farmers bring high-quality meats such as fresh frozen chicken, pork, beef, and lamb, as well as farm-fresh eggs. The market also highlights the creativity of the community, offering locally grown flowers, homemade jams and jellies, and a wide assortment of handcrafted items from talented local artisans.

What truly sets the Townsend Farmers Market apart is its role as a celebration of community, sustainability, and local agriculture. It’s a place where people gather not just to purchase goods, but to support one another, share stories, and enjoy the simple pleasures of small-town life.

Whether you’re a long-time resident or just passing through, the Townsend Farmers Market offers something special for everyone. Mark your calendars and come experience the heart of Townsend—one Thursday at a time.
