Reading Leaves is your local independent community bookstore.

We aim to promote literacy in Townsend and the surrounding communities by providing a rich and varied selection of reading materials and by building relationships that boost reading confidence and leadership skills in all readers.

We are happy to order books and to hold pop-up bookstores at request. We have also partnered with wonderful companies like Hummingbird and Libro.fm to bring you e-books and audio-books. Thank you for shopping with us and keeping your tax dollars in the local economy.
