DESCRIPTION:  \nBroadwater Community Theater Group\nPresents\nMichael Lewis\nJuly 22 12-2:00 PM and July 23 12-2:00 PM\nThe Broadwater Community Theater Group is proud to offer this opportunity to work with Michael Lewis in an intensive acting workshop that will allow participants to hone in on their skills of creative direction\, collaboration\, adaptation\, and so much more. Michael has offered his time to share his unique experiences as an actor and how he transformed from the local Montana thespian\, to the regular working performer that he is today. \nPrice:  $35 for students/$40 General Admission (Includes both days)\n$17 for student/$20 General (Single Day)\n\nLocation: The Lodge\n131 South Spruce Street\, Townsend\, Montana 59644\n\nRSVP: Anne Hall (406) 924-9850 syreniaimagery@gmail.com\n\nAmenities: Lunch and beverages will be provided.\nWorkshop is designed to fill both days as this is planned to be an intense course\nClass one/Day one 12:00-2:00 pm. \nThis workshop will explore aspects of “clowning”\, movement\, improvisation\, and other theater games. It is intended for teens and adults of any or no experience. There will be an emphasis on fun! \nClass two/Day two 12:00-2:00 pm. \nThis workshop will be a guided exploration to playing the works of the Bard. We will explore physicality (both literal and non-literal gesture)\, and will also focus on vocal approaches to the text. It is intended for teens and adults of any or no experience. Never again will you fear Will! \nMichael Lewis Biography \nMichael Lewis is originally from Butte. He received his B.F.A. in acting and directing from the University of Montana. Since graduating\, he relocated to New York City where he has been acting professionally for over 30 years. He has performed at regional theaters across the county (such as Cincinnati Playhouse\, San Diego Rep\, Philadelphia’s Wilma\, Boston’s Huntington\, and Houston’s Alley)\, and in Europe (Finland\, Sweden\, Norway\, Germany). He has also appeared in numerous television cameos and feature films (Law and Order\, Blue Bloods\, You\, The Blacklist). For the last 20 years\, he and his partner have run a summer Shakespeare Retreat in Vermont for actors wanting to brush up on the Bard. \nResume can be made available upon request. \nPlease RSVP to the contact information provided above.\nAll payments can be made at the door.
