SUMMARY:Community Theater Startup Meeting
DESCRIPTION:GROUP FORMS COMMUNITY THEATER \nIf you have an interest in Community Theater\, please join a newly formed group of theater enthusiasts who would like to involve Broadwater County residents.  A startup meeting is planned for Wednesday\, Feb. 6 at 6pm at the Library Community Room in the school. \nWhether you prefer to be the star of the show\, or enjoy building props\, setting up lighting and sound or just sitting in the audience enjoying the show\, this meeting is one that will spark your interest. \nThe group interested in the startup was formed from a summer theater production\, “Nunsense”\, directed and acted by Broadwater High School students and others at the Betsy Back Room last July.    The production was held two nights along with an afternoon matinee\, and sold out to full houses. \nCoincidentally\, a theater venue has opened at The Lodge\, the former Masonic Hall on Spruce St.  The building is being renovated by Tina Homann who has expressed an interest in having a theater in the building.  The proposed theater room will seat 100 persons\, or would work well for dinner theater for about 80 persons\, according to Homann. \nA tour of the proposed theater venue at The Lodge will follow the meeting for those who are interested.
