DESCRIPTION:Planes and ultra lights from all over the state of Montana will gather at the Townsend Festival of Flight for the 4th of July every year. Breakfast will be available for those that fly in or drive in. Airplanes of various vintages will be on display in the tie down area. The EAA chapter of Helena will sponsor free airplane rides for children ages 8-17\, between the hours of 9am and 11am\, with a licensed EAA pilot. Parental permission must be signed before a flight can be done. A courtesy car is available for pilots that do fly in and want to go into Townsend for the city’s 4th of July activities. Other rides into town will also be available. There is a pilot’s lounge and picnic area. Airplane fuel is also available. DESCRIPTION:GROUP FORMS COMMUNITY THEATER \nIf you have an interest in Community Theater\, please join a newly formed group of theater enthusiasts who would like to involve Broadwater County residents.  A startup meeting is planned for Wednesday\, Feb. 6 at 6pm at the Library Community Room in the school. \nWhether you prefer to be the star of the show\, or enjoy building props\, setting up lighting and sound or just sitting in the audience enjoying the show\, this meeting is one that will spark your interest. \nThe group interested in the startup was formed from a summer theater production\, “Nunsense”\, directed and acted by Broadwater High School students and others at the Betsy Back Room last July.    The production was held two nights along with an afternoon matinee\, and sold out to full houses. \nCoincidentally\, a theater venue has opened at The Lodge\, the former Masonic Hall on Spruce St.  The building is being renovated by Tina Homann who has expressed an interest in having a theater in the building.  The proposed theater room will seat 100 persons\, or would work well for dinner theater for about 80 persons\, according to Homann. \nA tour of the proposed theater venue at The Lodge will follow the meeting for those who are interested.
