DESCRIPTION:  \nBig Sky Culinary Classes & The Lodge of Townsend are pairing up once again\, to initiate an elevated\, fine dining experience IN Townsend! \nWe all know there is a need and desire for a different fare\, a high quality food establishment that we can enjoy without having to drive to another town\, here in Townsend. \nTogether we are collaborating to create a restaurant type environment that feels\, looks\, tastes and exemplifies the styles we drive miles to experience. \nHeather Hatwan & Tina Homann believe bringing to Townsend what we (and your expressed interest) ourselves would like to enjoy & would benefit the community immensely. Our idea is to have 3 course dinners\, 4 times a year with a full kitchen staff and wait staff. This concept would be a “Reservation Only” dinner to help us prepare efficiently to provide you with the service and meal you deserve. The menus will be carefully curated using the freshest of local ingredients including vegetables\, grains and meats. \nChef Heather’s Prix Fixe menu will be available for you to view online on the Big Sky Culinary Classes website https://www.bigskyculinaryclasses.com/ 2 weeks in advance to each dinner. The deadline for  Dinner #3 reservations is November 30\, 2024.  Reservations can be made a few different ways; By calling Heather  @ 303-406-1501\, emailing through the BSCC website portal or simply emailing bigskyculinaryclasses@gmail.com. \nOur 3rd dinner will be held on December 7\, 2024 at The Lodge with 2 seatings\, reservation only. Our 1st seating will be promptly at 6 pm\, the 2nd seating at 6:45 pm no later than 7 pm. We will have menus for you to review what you will be served that evening but there will be no “ordering” per se. \nThe Lodge has no liquor license\, therefore you are invited to bring your own alcohol\, wine or beer\, maybe a nice whiskey or scotch to enjoy during your meals. We will provide water and coffee\, cream and sugar\, wine and bottle openers etc… \nThe price per person\, for our 3rd dinner\, is $55 for the Chicken or Duck Dinner. If you make a reservation for 2 people the price will reduce to $50/person\, $100 for both (limited to 2 people). We will also offer incentives for you if you make reservations for all 4 of the dinners we are offering. The menu will highlight seafood. \nChef Heather and her team are very excited about this new opportunity with you and look forward to starting something great that we all have been wanting for a long time here in Townsend! DESCRIPTION:  \nTownsend Ducks Unlimited Banquet\nJesse Swenson\nMontana Duck’s Unlimited\nThe Upper Missouri River (Townsend) Ducks Unlimited Annual Banquet is coming up on Saturday\, November 4th\, at Watson’s Gym. \nFundraising banquets such as these preserve and create wetlands that will help ensure that waterfowl will have places to nest\, raise their young\, migrate through and winter in each year. Your attendance at the Townsend banquet will help DU conserve wetlands and critical upland habitat vital to North America’s waterfowl and the more than 900 other species of wildlife that use these same habitats. DU has conserved more than 16 million acres of waterfowl habitat in North America\, more than any other conservation organization in existence\, including restoring\, enhancing\, and protecting 501\,369 acres within Montana. While DU’s #1 priority is waterfowl\, more than 900 wildlife species benefit from our conservation work. During Fiscal Year 2022 (FY22)\, DU protected and restored more than 575\,000 acres of wetlands and other wildlife habitats across the United States alone. \nThere will be many raffles\, drawings\, and door prizes for the adults and the kids (Green Wings). Prizes include a Benelli 28 ga.\, Christensen Arms .308\, Springfield Garrison 1911 .45 ACP\, Weatherby Element Tungsten\, Ruger 10-22 .22LR Rifle\, Mossberg 6.5 Creedmoor\, Henry Goldenboy .22; Two Springfield Pistols\, Four Escort 12 guages\, a Traditions Buckstalker 50 cal. Muzzleloader\, Artwork\, Decoys and many more items for raffle\, silent auction\, and live auction. Doors open at 5:00 pm with raffles\, games\, and drinks catered by the Commercial Bar\, dinner catered by the Watson’s of Prime Rib at 6:30pm\, and the Live Auction will start at 7:30pm. Tickets are on sale at Schauber Surveying\, 64 Jack Farm Rd in Townsend. Ticket prices are: Sponsorship Couples $325.00\, Single $65.00\, Couples $100.00\, Greenwings (children) $30.00.
