DESCRIPTION:You are invited to a community meeting focused on childcare on Thursday\, February 8th at 6:00 pm at the Lodge of Townsend (131 S Spruce).  We will be sharing the results of the recent community childcare survey as well as gathering more input to form an action plan to improve childcare capacity in our community.  Local input is important and your participation makes a difference. No only is childcare a major issue that families face\, it is directly linked to employee recruitment and retention for local businesses. This is an issue that takes a community effort to solve. \nAs a bonus\, we are providing free dinner and childcare for the meeting.  PLUS we are having a drawing for four gift cards to local businesses valued at over $100. \nIf you can’t attend the meeting\, but are interested in being a part of the childcare effort in the community\, we’d love to have you join us.  We have a small community group that meets monthly as well as an email list with updates about the work we are doing.  Please let me know if you’d like to be added to this group. \nThank you to those that contributed to the survey and providing guidance on how we can continue to make Broadwater County a better place to live.  I hope to see you next week.  Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. \n
