Naloxone General User Course

April 26, 2019 @ 11:00 am

Naloxone General User Course
Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services Approved Training
Why is there a need for Naloxone General Users? TO HELP SAVE LIVES!!
Every Day in our country 174 people die from a drug overdose-over half of those deaths are opioid related; this equates to 1218 PEOPLE EVERY WEEK!! In response to the opioid epidemic, HB333 was passed into law as the Help Save Lives from Overdose Act. This act extends liability protections to public safety, firefighters, school nurses and any person who takes this class when administering Naloxone to a suspected overdose in the course of their duties. Naloxone General User led training fulfills the DPHHS approved training requirement of the Act.
