Recycling in Broadwater County
Recycling in Broadwater County is a cooperative effort by Broadwater County and Broadwater County Development Corporation (BCDC). They received two grants from the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) in 2010 for a total of $25,000 to help get the program started. The monies were used to purchase a baler for cardboard, two large collection bins for cardboard, a building for collecting plastics, two trailers to be used for collection of cardboard at Town Pump and the Hospital/Courthouse area, twelve smaller containers for collecting newspaper and white paper. The main collection site for the public is at the North Cedar Street dumpster site, for more information contact Brian Hohn (bcts@mt.net or 980-2057) or John Hahn (hahnsupply@mt.net or 266-4600).
